When stacking IBC containers, several key points must be strictly followed to ensure their safety and stability. First and foremost, the number of stacking layers must be determined based on the density of the contents.
For densities less than 1.4, four layers can be statically stacked; for densities greater than 1.4, three layers are recommended. During transportation, for densities less than 1.4, two layers can be stacked; for densities greater than 1.4, single-layer transportation is required.
Appropriate equipment such as forklifts should be used during stacking to ensure a stable base and avoid improper lifting methods. Furthermore, a flat, firm stacking area should be selected, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight to prevent material aging.
Simultaneously, the maximum stacking load of the IBC containers must be observed, IBC information must be clearly marked, a safe distance must be maintained, and the condition of the IBC containers must be checked regularly.
For special items, additional safety measures must be taken, and relevant regulations must be strictly followed to ensure safe and compliant storage and transportation.
