How the Anti-Static Design Works
Our anti-static IBC prevents the dangerous spark. In the manufacturing process, we compound special conductive additives directly into the plastic resin pellets before they're blow-molded into the final bottle shape. The anti-static property is built into the material at the outer layer of the IBC, the inner layer of the tank is kept without the additive so there is no interference with the liquid inside.
This specially engineered layer creates a controlled, low-resistance pathway across the entire exterior surface of the tank. It allows the charge to bleed off slowly and safely. It flows from the tank surface to the metal frame. Furthermore, the plastic valve is connected to a earth ground, letting the static electricity dissipate into the ground.

The 1000L Anti-static IBC tank is sized 1200mm by 1000mm wide and 1145mm height. Steel frame work is galvanized at 80 grams per square meter. The weight of the tank is 56kg with a 150mm screw cap opening and a 50mm discharge valve. A 40 foot high cube container can load 42 tanks and a 20 foot container can load 20 tanks. The static stack is 4 tiers of tank. One 1000L IBC holds the same volume as five 200L drums. Hence the Intermediate Bulk Container has become the go-to option for liquid transport and warehousing.
